Kee Huat's Wedding

This was my first experience on wedding photography and I should thank Kee Huat which use to be my mentor, now he is my colleague and friend. He is the one who gave me the opportunity to try out Wedding Photography.

The day before his wedding, I stayed overnight at his house so that I would be able to start helping him to photo as early as 5:00a.m. in the morning.

Bands of Brothers

The challenge of mine is that I don't have my own camera with me instead I borrow my friend, Terence's Alpha 700 instead. Without any external flashes, my best bet is to push to ISO to the max without compromise the image quality due to handshake.

Most of the photo I took is more like the flow of the whole process, further more he already had 2 main photographer, I am more like help out as well as cover some of the minor details of his wedding. Below are a few of my personal selection.

Christmas Decoration at town 2009

I rememer during 2008 Dec, it was the month that I got myself a new lenses a 50mm 1.8f by Nikon and after I got it, I straight away go to town and give it a try.

This time round, I only pick a few out from what I took. This is the best I got for 2009

Through His Point of View

Portrait @ Dataran Merdeka

During my KL trip - Khai Sheng and I had a short photography session at City Hall located at Dataran Merdeka. I tried to take some of the panoramic view of the are but I kinda failed. The photoshop took took long to merge the photo so I abandoned the project.

Instead I upload a few pick of mine and here.

This is quite an historical places, so I decide to give it some vintage touch to suit the place.

I find that is not easy to use a 50mm on a crop sized sensor to shoot a full body portrait while remaining the bokeh at the background. I guess I will have to try out more to get the feel of it. Oh ya... we got a flash with us that day, but too bad no one is going to hold it for me.
