Chinese New Year has come and goes

Took quite a break during the Chinese New Year and get chance to meet up with a numbers of friend. Though it was a bit havoc during the New Year period but luckily everything still under control and manageable if you knew what had happen.

Took most photos during this festive season especially of my home town- Bukit Mertajam.
is not too big nor small but is a place I felt warm and there really no place better than there!

At the town of Bukit Mertajam is actually a market where the photo within this post is all taken a night, a day before the Reunion Dinner, where most of the people came out for to made their last minute shoppings.

This temple is at the heart of BM town, where all the hottest events happen here especially during Hungry Ghost Festival, almost the whole Malaysian Taoist Chinese will gather here to perform rituals to transmute and absolve the sufferings of the deceased.

The Market at BM opens early in the morning where most of us still sleeping soundly at our bed, they started working as early as 2a.m. which my grandpa used to be a fishmonger he does wake up that early to fetch of some fresh catches from the distributor.

More on the BM night shots available here.

Love having festive season at home, it felt much warmer that way.
